Accessible Sessions are part of Footsteps in the Forest at Slieve Gullion Forest Park, which runs 21-27 October 2026. Instead of the woodland trail, the Samhain storytelling, characters and atmosphere come to level ground beside the main event space.
What to expect:
- Monday 26 October 2026 only
- An accessible route suitable for wheelchair users, with mostly level ground and a small number of gentle inclines
- No mountain climb required
- The performance space located approximately 140 metres from the main car park
- Mythical characters and performances, Samhain inspired storytelling and folklore
- A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted session will take place at 6pm on Monday 26 October 2026
- Ticketed; the £10 ticket per car includes the Slieve Gullion Forest Park car parking fee
- Accessible parking for Blue Badge holders, accessible toilets and baby changing on site
