Welcome to KiddyCompass — a place built by a parent, for parents.
I'm a mum of two, based in Scotland. If you're anything like me, you've spent way too many evenings googling “things to do with kids near me” — only to end up with a dozen tabs open, half of them outdated, and still no idea what it actually costs or whether your toddler will even be allowed in.
That's why I built KiddyCompass. I wanted one place where I could see what's out there — soft play centres, museums, farms, castles, nature trails, animal parks — with real prices, opening hours, and honest info about what ages each place is actually good for. No guessing. No nasty surprises when you get there.

We're just getting started
KiddyCompass started in Edinburgh, grew to cover all of Scotland, and now reaches right across the UK — England, Wales and Northern Ireland too. The goal is simple: be the place families go to when they need ideas for things to do with kids.
