About this event

This Black History Month , we will learn about Ugandan artist Sanaa Gateja, known as 'The Bead King'. He discovered how old magazines and paper could be rolled into colourful beads and turned into beautiful jewellery and artwork. Inspired by his creativity, we will make our own paper bead necklaces while learning about African art, culture, and the importance of recycling.
