About this event
Alton Towers Scarefest is part of the events programme at Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire. The resort calls it “the home of Halloween” — scare mazes, family trick-or-treat walkthroughs and over 40 rides running on into the dark.
What to expect:
- Theme park open 10am–9pm on Scarefest dates; on other days it shuts at 4pm with no Scarefest
- Trick O’ Treat Town and Amigos in the Afterlife are the family walkthroughs, each an “Interactive walkthrough recommended for those aged 6+”
- CBeebies Land Monster Ball: a live show with Bluey, Bingo, Ubercorn and Peter Rabbit — costumes encouraged
- Shows, meet and greets and photo opportunities in the Courtyard arena, plus the Alton Ancestors street performers
- Four scare mazes are each “recommended for guests aged 12+”, sold as add-ons on 15-minute timeslots
- “Under 90cm go free to the Theme Park”
- Pre-book theme park entry; maze entry needs a valid theme park ticket
