About this event
Amazonia ASN Sessions are part of the programme at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park at Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell.
We're excited to offer dedicated sessions every Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy the wonders of Amazonia, Scotland's indoor tropical rainforest, in a quieter, more relaxed environment tailored to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone - from meeting our incredible animals to exploring the rainforest.
What to expect:
- Every Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 11am
- A temperature-controlled tropical house themed on the Amazon rainforest, home to over 60 species
- Monkeys, parrots, snakes, frogs, tarantulas and fish, plus a nocturnal area with bats, kinkajou and scorpions
- A quieter, lower-stimulus hour before general opening
- Amazonia's own season runs from 1 September 2026 to 5 January 2027
