About this event
An Evening Under the Glow is part of the programme at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve near Skegness. UV torches turn an ordinary autumn night walk into a hunt for things that glow.
What to expect:
- Friday 16 October 2026, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Meet at the bottom of the Visitor Centre ramp
- With the help of UV torches, we’ll explore the hidden world of insects, plants, lichens, and fungi
- After the walk, a homemade beef or vegetarian lasagne with garlic bread and salad, and tea or coffee, back at the Visitor Centre
- "This event is for adults and families with children aged 13 and over"
- £19.95 per person
- Bring outdoor clothing, insect repellent, and a torch - with red light, if you have it
- Parking is available, normal parking fees apply; no dogs permitted
