Andy Dunning Static Engines at Yorkshire Wolds Railway

Andy Dunning Static Engines is part of the programme at the Yorkshire Wolds Railway, East Yorkshire's only heritage railway.

A display of small stationary engines brought to Fimber Halt and lined up beside the line, as the railway's own photograph shows, while the steam service carries on for the day.

What to expect:

• Sunday 18 October 2026, an ordinary operating Sunday with the engines on display
• Trains leave Fimber Halt from “10.00 - First departure” to “15.30 - Last Departure”
• “Access to the visitor centre and car park is free, though donations are greatly appreciated.”
• Rides are priced “Adult : £7.50”, “Child: £3.75 (4-17yrs)”, “Family : £17.00 (upto 2 adults and 3 children)”
• Free on-site parking and toilets, with a shop and refreshment coach inside a BR MK2 carriage
• Wheelchair accessible via ramp; “Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome on site”
