About this event
The Atholl Highlanders Parade is part of the programme at Blair Castle in Blair Atholl, Perthshire.
The annual Atholl Highlanders Parade returns to Blair Castle. The Atholl Highlanders are the only remaining private regiment in Europe and act as the personal bodyguard to the Duke of Atholl, Chief of Clan Murray. They have no military role, but they are armed with Lee-Metford rifles and include a pipe band.
What to expect:
- Saturday 29 May 2027
- From 11am in the Ballroom, an Atholl Highlanders talk with Archivist Keren Guthrie and the CSM
- From 2.30pm on the forecourt of Blair Castle, the annual parade with a live pipe band and the firing of the cannon
- Tickets will be available to buy online in the New Year
- The 2026 programme is on the event page for an idea of the running times for the day
