About this event
Autism Friendly Day at Monkey World is part of the programme at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre near Wool, Dorset. The park opens an hour early, exclusively for neurodivergent visitors and their families, home to over 230 rescued primates.
What to expect:
- Saturday 17 October and Saturday 14 November 2026
- Exclusive early entry at 9am for neurodivergent visitors and their families
- "Sensory trails, a calm room, and drop-in room for support"
- Pre-bookable only: book the 9am slot online, even if you plan to arrive later, and you can then enter at any point in the day
- A whole day at the 65-acre park with its chimpanzees, orang-utans, gibbons and monkeys
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times (park rule)
