Things are about to get cosy at the museum, with a week of autumnal crafting, storytelling and family theatre this October half term.
What to expect:
- 24 October - 1 November 2026; the listing gives 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
- All week: autumn-themed colouring and seasonal decorations to take home in the Nature Gallery
- Learn how to make a Corn Dolly, traditionally made to mark the end of the harvest
- Last chance for the Mini Mythical Creatures Trail and the Cornish Myths & Legends exhibition
- Tales Around The Toadstool storytelling with Truro Library, 1pm on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th, Thursday 29th & Friday 30th
- Family theatre, The Lost Words, Wednesday 28th October at 11am & 2pm (booking required)
- "Under 18s visit the museum free, and Adult Annual Passes are £10."
