About this event
This is a fabulous free event for the community, held in the beautiful surroundings of the walled garden on the Parke Estate. There will be plenty of nature themed craft activities and a fun 'hunt the squash' game. Make sure to visit Story Corner and listen to tales of Dartmoor folklore.
Story performances will take place at 12pm and 2pm for 20-30 minutes.
What to expect:
- Thursday 29 October 2026, 11:00–15:00
- Find us in the walled garden near the polytunnel.
- Be prepared for Devonshire weather, this is an outdoor event.
- The car park is £3 for 2 hours for £5 all day, or the event is a short walk from Bovey Tracey. National Trust members park for free.
- The walled garden can be accessed a short distance from the car park down a steep tarmacked drive, with two steps. There is a second entrance via a slope with no step.
