About this event
Biofluorescent Night Walk is part of the what's-on programme at Trebah Garden near Falmouth in Cornwall.
With UV torches provided, venture into the darkness to witness biofluorescent organisms in their natural habitat - fungi, insects and plants coming alive with green, blue, red, purple and orange.
What to expect:
- Three walks: 9:00-10:30pm on Wednesday 21 October, then 7:00-8:30pm and 9:00-10:30pm on Thursday 22 October 2026
- "This guided walk is suitable for anyone aged 8 years and above"; "anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult"
- UV torches and safety glasses are provided, and the glasses must be worn throughout
- "Come prepared with warm clothing as the pace of the walk is slow"; sturdy shoes, uneven terrain, up to 2 miles
- "Non-Member Ticket £30"; "Non-Member Child (8+) Ticket £15"
- Trebah Kitchen will be closed; hot drinks available to buy but not included
- Doors open half an hour before the walk starts; assistance dogs only
