Biofluorescent Night Walks

Biofluorescent Night Walks is part of the North Norfolk District Council countryside programme at Pretty Corner Woods, Sheringham. With UV torches provided, we will venture into the darkness to witness a stunning display of biofluorescent organisms in their natural habitat - green leaves suddenly become a vivid red, spiders bright blue and lichen an intense orange.

What to expect:

• Monday 12 October 2026, 6.30pm-8pm; the walk lasts an hour and a half
• 8+ only, and all children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult
• UV torches provided, and safety glasses provided which must be worn throughout
• Come prepared with warm clothing as the pace of the walk is slow
• Sturdy shoes recommended as the terrain is uneven, and trousers to avoid stinging nettles
• Pre-booking only, limited spaces, and free parking
