Bonfire Night at Alderford Lake 2026

Bonfire Night is part of the programme at Alderford Lake in Whitchurch, Shropshire.

A night by the lake with two fireworks displays, a traditional bonfire, funfair rides and food stalls – including an earlier, quieter display for anyone who finds a full show too much.

What to expect:

• Saturday 7 November 2026; gates open 5:00pm
• 7:00pm – sound-sensitive fireworks display, “designed for those who prefer a quieter experience without missing out on the magic”
• 8:00pm – main fireworks display set to music
• A traditional bonfire is lit before the gates open, for safety
• Classic funfair rides and games for all ages
• Food stalls serving hot drinks, sweet treats and street food
• Parking information will be shared closer to the event; wrap up warm
