About this event
Bookbug at the Museum is part of the programme at the Museum of Scottish Fire Heritage in Edinburgh. The museum opens its gallery half an hour early for a Bookbug session - songs and a story for the very youngest visitors and their grown-ups, with the run of the museum afterwards.
What to expect:
- Fortnightly Tuesday mornings: 22 September, 6 October and 20 October 2026, 09:30 to 10:00
- Held in the gallery before the museum opens to everyone else
- 'Designed especially for wee ones and their grown-ups, we'll sing fun songs and share a story'
- 'No booking needed, just drop in'
- Stay on afterwards and enjoy the museum, which is free to visit
- The session is led by a volunteer, so the museum asks you to check its website or social media before setting out, in case it is not running
- The museum has historic fire engines and interactive displays, so there is plenty for small visitors after the singing
