Bowood's October half-term week: “Bowood Halloween Adventures is back, whatever the weather! Put on your wellies and explore.” A pumpkin trail through the grounds, crafts in the Gardeners' Bothy and a hidden ghost worth finding.
What to expect:
- Thursday 22 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
- Pumpkin Trail: “Collect a trail booklet on arrival at Admissions”, then claim an edible treat
- The trail runs through the Arboretum, “which can be muddy, walking boots or wellies are advised”
- Arts & Crafts in the Gardeners' Bothy, 12:00-15:00, from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November
- Falconry displays on 25 and 28 October and 1 November, sent here as their own listing
- A cutout ghost is hidden in the grounds on 31 October and 1 November; find it and win a 2027 season ticket
- All of it is included within a House & Gardens Day Ticket
