About this event
Brambly Hedge Interactive and Story Trail is part of the programme at Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset. In the operator's words, "the beloved mice of Brambly Hedge are back for their final season with us" — an adventure inspired by The High Hills alongside the Sea Story trail, with riddles, stamps and challenges.
What to expect:
- Running daily until Sunday 1 November 2026, when the Swannery closes for the season
- Open every day 10am to 5pm, last entry 4pm
- The High Hills play area — scramble up the peak, hunt for gold, dress up as a character — plus the Sea Story question trail
- Secret stamp stations round the grounds; each earns a stamp in the activity booklet and a fact about the nesting swans
- Described by the Swannery as designed for families; no age limit stated
- Included with standard entry: "Adults: £15.00, Child (5-15 years): £7.50, Under 5 years old: FREE"
- Also on site: 600 free-flying swans, the willow maze, playground, café, free parking
- No dogs are allowed on site
