Broomstick Making is part of Spells and Sparkles, October half term at Harewood House near Leeds (24 October - 1 November). Have you ever fancied flying through the skies? Guided by one of Harewood's warlocks or witches, build your very own broomstick from a wooden stick and rope.

What to expect:

  • Every day of half term, Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
  • Drop-in timeslots at 11am and 1pm
  • An outdoor workshop in the Sylvascope
  • Suitable to families of all ages
  • Included in day tickets and membership; first come, first served
  • Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
