About this event
Step into the story of Windrush! Join us for a fun, hands-on journey exploring the experiences of Caribbean people who came to Britain. Discover what they might have packed for their journey, then get creative and make your very own pretend Windrush suitcase. Decorate a shoebox-sized cardboard suitcase and fill it with drawings or notes of the special things you would take on an exciting journey. What would you pack? What would you miss? What would remind you of home? Ages 5 to 12 years.
