This autumn, National Trust Cymru is celebrating Calan Gaeaf at places across Wales. Calan Gaeaf marks the beginning of winter in the Welsh calendar on 1 November. It is a tradition closely connected with the changing seasons, the end of harvest and old Welsh beliefs about spirits, strange creatures and the Otherworld. At Erddig, follow the fun, family-friendly trails through the house and garden and discover some of the creatures and stories taken from? Welsh folklore along the way.
