About this event
Camera-less Photography is part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, which runs 19 October to 8 November 2026.
Step into the darkroom and make photographs without a camera: light, objects and photo-sensitive paper become unique photograms on the theme of Reflections, guided by tutor Wilma Smith.
What to expect:
- Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026, in four 60-minute sessions a day: 10am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm
- "an ideal activity for families during the October holidays" and "Suitable for all ages and experience levels"
- "No previous experience is required, and all materials will be provided"
- Places can be booked for up to four people per session, so a family can take part together
- Free, and facilitated by Summerlee Photomedia in the museum's darkroom studio
