Craft Your Own Haggis Creature is part of the Tattie Holidays activities programme at Braemar Castle, which runs 16-24 October 2026.
Braemar Castle throws open its doors for the tattie holidays with a morning of making, and this one is pure invention: a haggis creature of your own, built from scratch at a table in the castle.
What to expect:
- Friday 16 October, 11am — make and take home your own haggis creature
- A hands-on craft session run by castle staff and volunteers
- Activities are aimed at primary age children and last roughly 1 hour
- £3 per child (accompanying adult free)
- Includes a drink and a snack
- Limited spaces — email [email protected] to book
- Held inside Braemar Castle, on the edge of the village on the A93; free-flow parking at the castle gate
