Creepy Crawlies: The Truth About Spooky Bugs!

Creepy Crawlies is part of the programme at Woodthorpe Grange Park in Sherwood, Nottingham, run by Nottingham City Council's Parks and Open Spaces team.

Spiders may get all the Halloween attention, but the insect world is home to some truly terrifying characters - real-life vampires, zombies, mummies and assassins. Dr Linda leads a family-friendly interactive talk on the strange and spooky side of bugs.

What to expect:

• Saturday 24 October 2026, 2pm to 3pm - one hour
• Nature's most chilling creatures, and why you will never look at a moth quite the same way again
• The organisers call it "perfect for curious children, budding nature lovers and anyone who enjoys a good Halloween mystery"
• "£10 per child (adults do not need a ticket when accompanying a child)"
• Indoors at the Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop, inside the park on Woodthorpe Drive
