Dads Rock Playgroup at The Gorgie Mem

Dads Rock runs its weekend playgroups at The Gorgie Mem, the community hall on Gorgie Road in Edinburgh. The charity's own line is "Improving outcomes for children - Inspiring dads and families".

What to expect:

• "Dads Playgroups - Saturday's and Sunday's 10-1130am. They are free and open to all Dads/Male carers and children aged 0-5 years."
• A playgroup specifically for dads and male carers, so you will not be the only one
• The hall has a fully stocked kitchen and a secure garden with play equipment
• No booking mentioned - it is a drop-in
• Dads Rock also runs parenting workshops through the year (Dads Antenatal, First Aid for everyone, Raising Children with Confidence and a Dads Hairstyle workshop), free or low-cost monthly Dads Trips for children aged 0-8, and music lessons for young people aged 8+ and their families
• There are Dads WhatsApp groups open to all dads across Edinburgh - ask at the group
