Dance N Play at Dance Base

Dance N Play is part of the programme at Dance Base, Scotland's National Centre for Dance in Edinburgh's Grassmarket. A drop-in dance and movement class for the very youngest, led by Jo Jeffries in one of the centre's studios.

What to expect:

• Wednesdays, 10am – 10.45am, through the autumn term (14 September – 13 December 2026)
• For 18 months – 5 years, with a grown-up
• Drop-in: booked as a single class rather than a term course, so you can come when it suits
• Young Dancer (0-5 Years): Single class £5.50; 10 Class Pass £50. Additional sibling discounts available.
• Wear comfortable clothes you can move in; the studios are warm, so layers help
• Dance Base is in the Grassmarket with lift access to all studios
