About this event
The Parent & Toddler Group is part of the Youth Service programme at Deaf Action, the deaf charity at 49 Albany Street in Edinburgh. It is a regular, relaxed morning for deaf and deafblind babies and toddlers and the people who bring them, where BSL and English are equally at home.
What to expect:
- Every Thursday, 11am to 1pm, at Deaf Action, 49 Albany Street, Edinburgh
- The group also meets on the last Saturday of the month, 11am to 1pm
- For children aged 0 to 5 years, with a parent or carer staying
- 'All our events are accessible for everyone, whether you use BSL or English'
- Run by Deaf Action's Youth Service, which also offers a family support service and BSL family lessons
- Deaf Action notes that 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents, and the group is for parents as much as children
