Deaf Action Youth Club

Deaf Action Youth Club is part of the Youth Service programme at Deaf Action, the deaf charity at 49 Albany Street in Edinburgh. It is a monthly Saturday club for deaf young people: confidence, friendships and a lot of fun, and 'regardless of your level of hearing or preferred communication, no one is left out'.

What to expect:

• First Saturday of the month - 3 October and 7 November 2026, 12pm to 4pm; 5 December, time still to be confirmed
• For deaf young people aged 10 to 18
• Peer support and social time with other deaf young people, plus workshops and one-off trips like a day at Edinburgh Zoo
• Accessible whether you use BSL or English
• Transport support may be available - covering your own train fare, or travelling together by bus if you have a bus pass; ask well ahead, as last-minute help depends on staff availability
• Anyone can refer a deaf young person; parents and young people can also just get in touch
