About this event
Design Club (11-14), October Half Term is part of the programme at Young V&A in Bethnal Green, London. Work alongside Designer in The Shed Christie Swallow to create bird housing models, inspired by the museum's architectural collections and a variety of sustainable materials.
What to expect:
- Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October 2026, 12.00-16.00
- For 11-14 year olds only
- Workshops start at 12:00, 12:50, 13:40 and 15:15; last entry 15.15
- Free; be prepared to wait if full, or put your name down for a session that day
- Each participant must be accompanied to the museum by an adult, who can explore the rest of the museum during the activity
- Access to the museum's material library and design books
