Discovery Day – Relaxed Opening is part of the programme at The Amelia Scott in Tunbridge Wells.
Relaxed Discovery Days are specially designed for those who prefer a more tranquil museum experience, including autistic and neurodiverse visitors, along with their families and carers. This half term session has a Halloween theme.
What to expect:
- Saturday 24 October, 2pm to 4pm, in The Green Room
- Starts with a Halloween themed sensory story
- Then a movement activity led by This is Us Dance, and arts and crafts
- At 3.30pm a special 15-minute visit to the temporary exhibition for participants only
- Free, but booking is essential by email; tell the team about sensory triggers or access needs
- Parents and carers stay with their children throughout
