About this event
The Eerie Night Express is part of the programme at the Northampton & Lamport Railway at Chapel Brampton: three after-dark steam departures on Halloween night itself, run as a spookier version of the daytime Hocus Pocus trains but still open to all ages.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October 2026 only, with departures at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm
- "For that extra spooky experience we also have 3 special 'Eerie Night Express' trains running after dark on the Saturday (still suitable for all ages)."
- "Extensive Halloween decorations on the train and around the station"
- "Visitor attendance in Halloween fancy dress is actively encouraged! (but not mandatory)"
- "Halloween Fun for all ages. All children receive a treat."
- The buffet is open throughout for hot and cold drinks, snacks and hot food
- A return ride lasts about 45 minutes and there are no toilets on the train
- Free on-site gravel parking, ramps throughout and a dedicated Accessibility Compartment
