About this event
Family Design Challenge, October Half Term is part of the programme at Young V&A in Bethnal Green, London. You and your children problem-solve, design and make together in Open Studio, responding to a creative brief set by a designer, then take your creation home or display it.
What to expect:
- Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October 2026, 12.00-16.00, last entry 15.30
- 29-30 Oct: bird housing models, inspired by Designer in The Shed Christie Swallow
- 31 Oct: Halloween Special, Goodies & Baddies, supported by Mattel
- Most suitable for children aged 5-14; open to families with children up to 14
- Drop in any time; on busy days six 30-minute timed sessions
- Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout
