About this event
Family Smartphone Photography Workshop is part of the workshop programme at Tatton Park in Knutsford. Professional photographer Jane Burkinshaw shows families how to get far more out of a phone camera than a snapshot, starting in the Barn Rooms and then heading out to shoot on the farm and in the gardens.
What to expect:
- Thursday 29 October 2026, 10.00am – 1.00pm
- “targeted for families with young people aged 11+, who wish to learn together”
- Classroom time first, then plenty of time photographing outdoors, plus a game of photography bingo
- “£30 per person (Includes: Smartphone Photography Workshop, Park Entry and Use of the Parkland & Attractions during the workshop)”
- Bring a fully charged smartphone and your charger as backup, and dress for the outdoors
- Meeting point: Barn Rooms, Stableyard
- The classroom part is on the first floor of a historic barn with no lift access
