About this event
Family Takeover with Tom James is part of the programme at Camden Art Centre in Hampstead, London.
Join artist Tom James for family activities exploring the play and process of making art together. Children and accompanying adults build a large scale sculptural marble run in the Drawing Studio from reclaimed tubes, pipes, bottles and funnels, loosely inspired by Liz Larner's exhibition A Hard Line to Bend.
What to expect:
- Saturdays 24 October, 7 November and 21 November 2026
- Two time slots each date: 11.15am to 12.15pm and 12.45 to 1.45pm
- "Activities are designed for children (aged 4+) and adults working together, activities may be messy."
- Each collaborative marble run is designed, tested and built by participants, then taken apart
- Free entry; book a place through Eventbrite
- If you cannot attend, cancel your order so the place can go to another family
