About this event
Family Weekend is part of the programme at Bluecoat, the arts centre on School Lane in Liverpool. The operator calls it "two days of FREE family-friendly activities celebrating the Bluecoat archive" - a chance to "Discover the stories, people and moments that have shaped the arts centre's history", while the archive itself is being transformed through The National Archives' Archives Revealed programme.
What to expect:
- Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, 1pm to 4pm on both days
- "Free, drop in" - no ticket and no booking
- "Suitable for all ages", with activities built around the Bluecoat's own archive
- Part of the arts centre's regular family programme, which also runs a Lunar New Year family day
- The Bluecoat garden, galleries and Children's Corner are open alongside it
- Café open 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and 11am to 5pm on the Sunday
