About this event
The Fearsome Fancy Dress Competition is part of Haunting Halloween at Scolton Manor Park, which runs Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and join the parade outside the Manor House.
What to expect:
- One afternoon only - Friday 30 October 2026, parade at 2pm
- Gather outside the Manor House; the parade goes ahead there rather than indoors
- Come in costume: the judging is on best dressed, and there are prizes for the winners
- Outdoors, so wrap up warm over the costume and wear shoes you can walk the grounds in
- Falls in the middle of the Halloween half-term week, so you can pair it with the Manor House crafts and quizzes or the £2 Halloween trail the same day
- The page states no charge for the parade itself; normal car parking charges apply at the park
