About this event
Fright at the Museum: Tudor Traitors is part of the programme at The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge in Canterbury. It is “The Beaney’s annual Family Halloween Trail”: a secret Tudor society of alchemists, a stack of faded papers, and puzzles hidden through the galleries for families to solve.
What to expect:
- Saturday 3 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, “closed Mondays except Monday 26 October”
- Drop in any time the museum is open: Tue–Sat 10am–5pm, Sun 11am–4pm
- “Complete the trail and receive a tasty treat as your reward.”
- “£6 per trail (includes participation prize and competition entry)”
- “very popular with children aged 5 to 10 years old. Younger children may require some help with reading.”
- Borrow a SEND Family Backpack on arrival for sensory support and a symbol version of the trail
- Spooky Day on Saturday 31 October: costumes on, lights down, Tudor Traitors uncloaked
- “Purchase on arrival or prebook to guarantee availability when you visit.”
