FSZ Illuminations ASN Evening

The ASN evenings are the quiet, autism-friendly nights of FSZ Illuminations at Five Sisters Zoo in West Calder. The zoo is lit up as on any other evening, but the music is turned down and fewer tickets are sold.

What to expect:

• Two dates only: Wednesday 2nd and Monday 14th December 2026
• "Quiet, autism-friendly evenings are held on selected dates with reduced music volume and capacity."
• The same illuminated trail through the whole zoo: lit pathways, light displays and installations
• "Weather permitting, our children's rides will be open throughout the event"
• Accessibility: "primarily on flat pathways and is suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies", with accessible routes round the few steeper hills marked on the event map given out on arrival
• "For additional accessibility requirements, please contact [email protected] in advance."
• Outdoors in December - warm clothing and suitable footwear. Free parking; assistance dogs welcome
