About this event
Ghost Hunt with the micro:bit is part of the October half term programme at The Centre for Computing History in Cambridge. It's Halloween and the classroom has become a hideout for ghosts, so this half-term the museum is going on a ghost hunt armed with micro:bits, the pocket-size codeable device used to teach computing in a fun way.
What to expect:
- Tuesday 27 October 2026, 2pm to 3.30pm; arrive at least 15 minutes early
- Aimed at children aged 9 years and older, ideal for upper KS2 and KS3
- "The fee is £18 per participant in this workshop."
- "Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £12."
- Under-14s need an accompanying adult at the workshop
- Classroom kits are used and stay at the museum; micro:bit kits are on sale in the shop
- Entry to the museum is valid all day; booking required
