About this event
Ghoul School is Techniquest's Halloween half-term live science show in Cardiff Bay. Victims — er, we mean visitors — are invited into our enchanting Ghoul School. The ghastly headmaster has fallen into a deep sleep, and crackling electricity, bubbling brews and an explosive finale may be needed to wake him.
What to expect:
- Daily from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
- 30-minute shows at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30
- Aimed at children aged 5+ but everyone is welcome. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
- There is a loud bang at the end of this show; ear defenders are handed out
- Free / Guarantee a space for £1 (add-on to an admission ticket)
- Pacemaker users are advised to sit towards the back
