Gracefield Kids' Club Art and Craft Activities

Gracefield Kids' Club is part of the year-round programme at Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries.

A morning of creative fun with professional artists and makers, all materials supplied. Get off those devices and into art and craft! The club runs on Wednesdays in the school holidays and Saturdays during term-time.

What to expect:

• Sessions run 10.30am-12.00pm and are for ages 5-12
• Kids places are £6 each
• All materials supplied; led by professional artists and makers
• Sat 26 Sept - mask-making, inspired by Picasso and African art
• Sat 10 Oct - abstract art, inspired by the Joan Miro show in Gallery 1
• Wed 14 Oct - woolly sheep models from left-over real fleece and pegs
• Sat 17 Oct - air dry clay tea lights: ghosts, pumpkins, skeletons
• Wed 21 Oct - Fun with Fleece, collage artworks with wool
• Sat 31 Oct - a Halloween pop-up card with flying ghosts
• Sat 14 Nov - drypoint etching on the studio presses
• The Studio Cafe serves home baking and light lunches
