Half Term at Stratford Butterfly Farm: Monarch Migration and Día de Muertos

This half-term event is part of the programme at Stratford Butterfly Farm in Stratford-upon-Avon.

"This half term Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm will be celebrating the migration story of the Monarch Butterfly, and why they are associated with Día de Muertos, Day of the Dead."

What to expect:

• Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
• Monarch butterflies flying freely in the tropical Flight Area
• Daily lifecycle and migration demonstrations plus Meet the Minibeasts, 11:30am in the Discovery Zone
• Monarch Migration Trail in the outdoor gardens, with the chance to win return tickets
• Make a colourful Papel Picado decoration, a traditional Mexican paper craft, to take home
• Meet the newest arrival in Rainforest Realm, a Green Tree Python
• Open 10am to 5pm from 25 October, last entry 4pm
• Book online or walk in; quieter visits at 10am or after 3pm
