Halloween: All Hallow's Eve

Halloween: All Hallow's Eve is part of the programme at the Weald & Downland Living Museum, Singleton.

The half-term Plagues & Potions story reaches its peak on Halloween itself, with spooky characters, magical makes and hands-on haunted fun across the Museum's 40 acres.

What to expect:

• Saturday 31 October, 10am to 4pm
• "Come dressed in your favourite Halloween costume if you dare"
• Mystics in the Haunted Woodland: make a spell jar of natural ingredients and seal a wish inside with wax
• Plague Potions: make a protective potion the medieval way
• The Wise Woman's Cottage: meet a 16th-century witch and her array of cures and ointments
• Haunted Hambrook: eyeball and spoon race, pin the spider on the web, broomstick racing, apple bobbing
• Included with Museum admission; free parking, waterside cafe and picnic areas on site
