About this event
Halloween at Bowes Railway is part of the bicentenary programme at this rope-worked colliery railway museum in Springwell Village, Tyne and Wear. Make your own LED pumpkin lantern, listen to ghostly tales, meet the resident fortune teller, and explore the Spooooky underground to see what lurks in the shadows.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October 2026, with two time slots to choose from: 4pm or 5:30pm
- Make an LED pumpkin lantern of your own
- Ghostly tales, and the museum's resident fortune teller
- The event poster gives the price as £5 per child
- The poster also asks for a maximum of two adults per child, because of venue capacity
