About this event
Part of the 2026 events programme at Cheddar Gorge & Caves in Somerset. Cheddar Man has watched over Gough's Cave for 10,000 years, and once a year he wakes the Skeleton Keepers to help look after it — only this year they have got rather carried away with the spooky season.
What to expect:
- "Sat 24th October - Sun 1st November", every day; the caves open at 10am
- "it’s up to our young Cave Explorers to find the Skeleton Keepers hiding around the cave, follow the clues, collect their secret letters and crack the code"
- "The fun continues in the Arts and Crafts Room with ghoulish games, spooktacular arts and crafts, and the chance to pick up a Halloween-inspired reward sticker or colour in your own."
- "included with a Day Ticket!" — nothing extra to pay on top
- "Dogs are welcome in Gough's Cave, so everyone can join in the fun."
- The same ticket covers Gough's Cave, Cox's Cave, the Museum of Prehistory, Jacob's Ladder and the cliff-top walk
