Halloween at Chester Zoo is part of the zoo's own seasonal programme: "Explore and discover incredible wildlife on our family-friendly Top Trumps® trail this October. Who will win... zoo or you?"
What to expect:
- Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, 10am to 4.30pm each day
- "Take on the all-new Top Trumps® trail around Islands" — "Pick up your trail map and find out which animal you'll be playing as."
- Compare each animal's stats with your own, and collect an exclusive Top Trumps card to take home at the end
- "Discover giant pumpkin sculptures across the zoo"
- "Enjoy Halloween face painting (additional costs apply)"
- "Wrap up warm, grab a delicious seasonal hot drink from one of our food outlets"
- "Pick up spooky souvenirs and seasonal treats" in the gift shop
- "Halloween activities, the Top Trumps trail and pumpkin sculptures, are included with zoo entry and free for members."
