Halloween Cliff ‘Wail’ Way 2026

Halloween Cliff ‘Wail’ Way is part of the programme at the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway in Lynmouth, north Devon. For one night the water-powered funicular runs after dark, and the railway promises “eerie smoke, haunting sounds, and LIVE ACTORS ready to give you a fright”.

What to expect:

• One night only: Saturday 31 October 2026, 6pm to 9pm
• Ride the cliff railway in the dark by “flickering candlelight”
• “Watch out for our zombie drivers and prepare for a ghostly adventure filled with unexpected scares”
• “No booking required, just turn up between 6pm and 9pm for an unforgettable ride!”
• The railway calls it “perfect for all ages (yes, even the little ones!)”
• Afterwards the Cliff Top Café is open for “homemade soup, hot rolls, delicious cakes, and comforting teas & coffees”
