About this event
Halloween Ghost Trains run at Blaenavon's Heritage Railway, the preserved line through the UNESCO industrial landscape above Blaenavon. An after-dark steam trip up the valley with things waiting in the dark — pre-booked, wristbanded, and deliberately not very gentle.
What to expect:
- Four nights: Saturday 24, Sunday 25, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026
- “The first departure is at 16:00. Each train journey will last approximately 15–20 minutes”, with “a wait at Garn-Yr Erw Halt (The Whistle Inn and Park)”
- “Our Ghost Train services are generally suitable for those aged 5 and over. Those wanting a less scary experience are advised to book onto the earlier departures.”
