Halloween Half Term Fun 2026: Spooktacular Science

Halloween Half Term Fun is part of the what's-on at Hever Castle & Gardens in Kent. "Treat your little ones to a spine-tingling visit to Hever Castle this Halloween Half Term as Spooktacular Science takes over the grounds" - a trail, a craft table and a mad-scientist show, all on the normal admission ticket.

What to expect:

• Daily 17 October - 1 November 2026, 10:30 - 16:30
• Mad Scientists Halloween Trail round the grounds, "Daily, 10:30am to 5:30pm (trail closes 4:00pm)"
• "look out for hidden letters and see if you can solve the puzzle!" - crack the code and collect a bag of sweets at the Information Hut
• Mad Scientist Goggles craft in the Garden Exhibition, daily 11:00am to 4:00pm
• "Dr Frankenstein's Science Adventure Show" in the Think Tank at 11:30, 12:30, 14:00 and 15:00
• All three included in admission
• Halloween face painting 12:00pm to 4:00pm on 17-18, 22-25 and 29-31 October, "£6 per child"
• Mazes, play areas and the lake walk are open as usual
