About this event
Halloween Running Day is part of the programme at The Peacock Railway, the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society's miniature railway at Willaston near Nantwich. The trains run for a special Halloween-themed afternoon and "everyone of all ages is encouraged to join in the fun."
What to expect:
- Sunday 25 October, trains running between 2:00pm and 5:00pm
- Rides on the society's quarter-mile raised track, with the Gauge 1 railway also running trains
- "It’s £1 for two laps of the railway"
- Pocket money Halloween themed items to buy, plus candy floss, sweets, a scavenger hunt and a lucky dip
- Soft drinks, tea, coffee and snacks from the clubhouse
- The entrance is at the back of the Peacock Pub car park, down the track
- Run entirely by volunteers
