Halloween Saturday at Yorkshire Wolds Railway

Halloween Saturday! at Fimber Halt is part of the programme at the Yorkshire Wolds Railway, East Yorkshire's only heritage railway.

Join us on site for some spooky Saturday excitement. Hallowe'en itself falls on the Saturday this year, and the railway opens specially for it with the steam service running and the visitor centre, shop and refreshment coach open.

What to expect:

• Saturday 31 October 2026 - one of the extra Saturdays the railway opens for events
• Trains leave Fimber Halt from “10.00 - First departure” to “15.30 - Last Departure”
• “Access to the visitor centre and car park is free, though donations are greatly appreciated.”
• Rides are priced “Adult : £7.50”, “Child: £3.75 (4-17yrs)”, “Family : £17.00 (upto 2 adults and 3 children)”
• Free on-site parking, toilets, and a shop and refreshment coach inside a BR MK2 carriage
• Wheelchair accessible via ramp; “Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome on site”
